The Retreat
April 25–30, 2027A five-night immersion led by Laurie Doctor — drawing, watercolor, and journaling — set inside The Fitzgerald, one of the three oceanfront estates that make up The Three Authors in Corolla, NC. Mornings and late afternoons in the top-floor studio; European lunch break and evenings on the deck, around the table and on the beach. Three private acres on Corolla's four-by-four beach — reachable only by the sand, with wild horses on the dunes and the Atlantic at the property line.

Laurie, at workLaurie Doctor leads the five-day program — daily instruction in drawing, watercolor, and journaling. The retreat follows the residential-workshop tradition of La Romita School of Art, host of painting retreats in Umbria, Italy for sixty years — brought home to the American coast.
